How Your Gift Heals
As conflict and famine in Sudan and Ethiopia force people to seek refuge elsewhere, Uganda is seeing an enormous influx of refugees crossing the border. Families are exhausted and terrified. Many are suffering from malnutrition, malaria, or other illnesses. All need loving, life-saving medical care.
When someone enters Uganda, Medical Teams is there ready to welcome them with friendly faces. They see one of our providers, who can quickly assess their health needs. This Christmas, you can give the relief of compassionate care when it matters most.
Your gift of $20 provides:
- A primary health care check-up for one person with a compassionate provider
- Vaccinations for one person, if necessary
- Emergency nutrition for one person, if necessary
- Emergency anti-malarial or other disease treatment, if necessary
